Kickoff to Summer 🎉 Boston's First “To-Go Cocktails” Block Party Ignites Downtown This Weekend!

Downtown Crossing

Ahhh summer… (almost)… there's nothing quite like the combination of food, drinks, groovy music, and, most importantly people partying in the great outdoors.

This weekend, Downtown Crossing is turning into the epicenter of all things delectable and downright fun, with Boston's first-ever 'To-Go Cocktails' Block Party!

Time & Space
Step into an open-air food and drink promenade – a celebratory extravaganza hosted by the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (Downtown Boston BID) in collaboration with the City of Boston. And the best part? It's absolutely free!

So, grab your family, gather your friends and prepare your palate because Saturday, June 3 (12-8 pm), and Sunday, June 4 (12-6 pm) are set to be a foodies fantasy.

Location, Location, Location
Nestled between Washington and Tremont Streets on Temple Place, just a stone's throw away from Boston Common, this free two-day block party promises to be a blast. There's 14 hours of live music in the mix, providing the perfect soundtrack to eat, drink, and have fun.

The Restaurants, Revealed

At the heart of this resurgence is the 'restaurant row' on Temple Place where you can order delicious food from ten local restaurants. It's a street party like no other, right by Boston Common featuring ten diverse eateries: Bogie’s Place, Boston Chops, Café 26, Café Bonjour, Democracy Brewing, Estella, George Howell Coffee, Herrera’s Mexican Grill, jm Curley, and The Wig Shop.

Boston Chops is stirring the pot with a fresh bar menu. Get there quick – there's complimentary samples! Meanwhile, Democracy Brewing has some great news to share: they're getting back into the swing of Monday hours. If it's a sneak peek of summer menus that you're after, Bogie’s Place, jm Curley, and The Wig Shop are ready to tantalize your tastebuds with new cocktails and menu items.

Fancy a Freebie? Pre-Register Now!

Be one of the first 500 to pre-register and attend to bag some exciting giveaways. Also, rest assured that all existing indoor dining reservations at these ten hotspots will be honored throughout the weekend.

Bring Your IDs and Appetites!

This Block Party is for everyone: kids, grown-ups, foodies, drink enthusiasts, and plain ol’ fun-lovers. However, those intending to order the 'to-go cocktails' must be 21+ and provide photo ID. And remember, no BYOB – it's all about celebrating the local offerings!

Weather, Travel, and Parking

Come rain or shine, the party's on. Only severe weather can rain on this parade. Plan your journey – consider walking, catching the T, or hopping on a BlueBike. If you're driving, Lafayette Garage and the Boston Common Garage are nearby for parking.

So, pencil it in, Boston: your weekend is about to be a blast, full of 'To-Go Cocktails', incredible cuisine, and vivacious vibes. See you at the Block Party 🎉
