Snowport Boston 2025: Seaport’s Giant Winter Wonderland
If Boston could live inside a snow globe, this would be it.
Every winter, the Seaport neighborhood flips a switch and becomes Snowport, a magical holiday playground filled with festive lights, pop-up markets, rooftop igloos, curling lanes, cocktails, ice sculptures, and even a celebrity yeti named Betty. Yes, really. Snowport is back for 2025 and bigger than ever, and this year the entire neighborhood feels like a winter getaway dropped right onto the waterfront.
If you’re searching for the best holiday events in Boston, the top Christmas markets, Instagram-worthy installations, or just an excuse to sip cocoa under twinkling lights, Snowport is the place to be.
Here’s your complete guide to Snowport Boston 2025: what to do, where to shop, what’s new, and why this is the most festive destination in the city.
A Winter Wonderland in the Heart of Boston Seaport
Hold on to your handwarmers. Seaport got shaken up like a giant snow globe this season, transforming the neighborhood into a full, walkable wonderland. Expect glowing art installations, holiday music, seasonal food pop-ups, fire pits, local vendors, surprise performances, and nonstop activity from now through February.
The entire area is dressed in its wintry best, with glittering décor, cozy corners, and so many festive moments you’ll want to come back all season long.
The Holiday Market at Snowport: 125+ Local Makers

125+ small businesses and local makers
More food vendors than ever
Custom cocktail bars
A full Crafting Corner by The LEGO Group
A mistletoe arch, winter wish wall, and tons of festive décor
Live music and holiday performances
And yes, you can snag a complimentary LEGO make-and-take snowman while supplies last.
If you love supporting small businesses or you’re hunting for the perfect holiday gift, this is your paradise.
Meet Betty the Yeti: Snowport’s Holiday Icon
Move over Mariah Carey. Boston has a new queen of winter, Betty the Yeti.
Fresh off the plane from the Himalayas, Betty has returned to Seaport for her winter vacation. You’ll spot her posing for selfies at Betty’s Blizzard Bluff in The Superette Courtyard, popping up around Snowport for celeBETTY sightings, and making surprise appearances during special events.
Rumor has it she demands her dressing room be kept at exactly 32 degrees. Diva behavior? Maybe. Icon behavior? Absolutely.
Betty plushies and exclusive merch drop on November 7 — and they always sell out fast.
Curling Returns: Give It a Curl
One of Snowport’s most beloved traditions is back.
The Snowport Curling Lanes on Harbor Way (next to Taiyaki NYC) are open through February, completely free, and perfect for both first-timers and friend groups looking for something new.
Reserve a lane through the Seaport Insider App and enjoy 30 minutes of iceless curling for up to eight people. There are also dedicated Learn to Curl workshops taught by the North End Curling Club on select Saturdays.
No experience needed. Just bring warm layers and some competitive spirit.
