Hasty Pudding’s Woman of the Year

Have you ever heard of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals Awards? Well, Jennifer Coolidge is being recognized with the Woman of the Year award this year!

The troupe announced the Award this past Tuesday. Coolidge has had a very successful 2022 and a start to 2023. She has just recently won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her exceptional performance as Tanya McQuoid in the HBO’s series ‘White Lotus.’ Additionally, she has starred in the Netflix Series ‘The Watcher.’ Her career resurgence and her many successes in the acting world are what earns her the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award.

“We know our Pudding Pot will look phenomenal alongside her new Golden Globe, and we swear we won’t whisk her away to a palazzo in Palermo,” Hasty Pudding producer Sarah Mann said.

The awards ceremony will take place on February 4th at 7PM in Farkas Hall. Additionally, there will be a parade through Harvard Square that will start at 1:45PM. Coolidge is set to be paraded while wearing a costume and then partake in a celebratory roast, skits, and the presentation of the award as it has happened in previous years. The ceremony will conclude with the opening night of a Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ production, “Cosmic Relief.”
