On Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, 2025, Aeronaut Brewing Company will transform its Somerville taproom into a lively Bavarian beer hall filled with German-style brews, festive eats, live music, and competitions that will have you shouting PROST! all weekend long.
Celebrate Oktoberfest in Somerville
Each fall, Aeronaut brings the magic of Munich to Union Square with its annual Oktoberfest celebration in Somerville. This year promises more excitement than ever:
German-Inspired Beers on Draft – including Aeronaut’s classic Märzen-style Oktoberfest lager.
Festive Fare from Mimi’s Chuka Diner – dig into schnitzel sandwiches, Sapporo-braised brats, curry fries, laugenbrezel, and more.
Live Polka Music – dance along with the Maestro’s Men Polka Band, filling the beer hall with authentic Bavarian sounds.
Steinholding Competition – test your strength in this traditional endurance challenge. All abilities welcome, but only one will be crowned champion!
Costume Contest – break out your lederhosen or dirndl for a chance to win prizes.

Tickets & Admission
Aeronaut offers both General Admission and VIP tickets for Oktoberfest 2025:
General Admission: $10 at the door (first-come, first-served; capacity may lead to wait times).
VIP Admission: $30 via Eventbrite – includes guaranteed entry, a glass stein, your first pour, and a serving of Mimi’s curry fries.
Bonus: Fluff Festival & Fluff-toberfest
On Saturday, September 20, Oktoberfest coincides with Union Square Main Street’s beloved Fluff Festival (2–6 pm)—a Somerville tradition celebrating Marshmallow Fluff. Expect road closures and limited parking, so plan accordingly. Together, Oktoberfest and Fluff Fest make for a double-header of Somerville fall fun!
